Powder Coating and Maintenance

CAS is committed to providing customers with exceptional powder coating services for all colour requirements. CAS is proud to be supplied and accredited by industry leaders Dulux and Interpon in an extensive range of colours and coatings.

CAS has two automatic horizontal paint lines housing the latest equipment and use a seven-stage pre-treatment facility that complies with the requirements of AS3715. This ensures that our products meet stringent performance and durability standards.

Cleaning powder-coated aluminium is crucial to ensuring its quality over time. Cleaning aims to remove grime build up or remove contamination without causing damage to the powder-coated surface. Powder-coated surfaces should be washed down with warm water and or with alternative approved cleaners.

Fibre brushes can be used to loosen dirt and grime, however, abrasive papers including sandpaper or emery paper must not be used. Acidic or alkaline cleaners are also not recommended as they can damage the anodic film.

For heavy deposits, approved cleaners may be used with care to loosen grime build-up. It is essential to finish cleaning by thoroughly rinsing all washed surfaces with clean water. White Spirits (Methylated Spirits) can be used to clean grease deposits using a soft cloth.

Chemical cleaners may attack powder-coated surfaces and must not be used except in consultation with companies who specialise in cleaning finished aluminium surfaces.
